We are rapidly headed for the 2020 Tax Circuit Breaker.
Unfortunately critical Infrastructure has been neglected to fund short term surface projects.

Planning needs to be long term, not just for the next election cycle. 3 to 5 years is not long enough.
My Priorities
Mine are NEEDS over WANTS. Citizens FIRST.
I grew up in Elkhart and I've lived in South Bend over 25 years. I know the area and I know the challenges. I have ideas on how it can be better. My focus is infrastructure. We need to make sure the basics are taken care of FIRST. Those things aren't glamorous for ribbon cuttings. For me there are FOUR CORE BASICS: Water, Sewers, Roads and Public Safety.
South Bend needs to do those better now and in the future. Infrastructure and neighborhoods have been underfunded for too long. I am invested in seeing South Bend succeed—for EVERYONE.

- We have Collapsing Sewer Tunnels
- We have Roads on a "85 Year Plan" for paving that lasts 10 -15 years
- We have Human Health Issues
- We have Record High Crime Rates
What are YOUR Values and Priorities?
- Millions given to Developers while Citizens do without?
- Giving away Millions in Tax Abatements while your taxes increase?
- Record debt levels?
